How the store scan works and when to refresh the dashboard numbers.
The dashboard numbers come from a scan of your Shopify products. Until the first scan, Home shows Ready to create videos? with a Scan My Store button.
What the scan reads
- Every product and whether it is active
- The number of images and videos on each product
- The size of each image, to check resolution
When to refresh
Click Refresh Report after a large import, after a video task finishes, or whenever Last updated is old. The scan only reads data; it never changes products and uses no credits.
Large catalogs can take a little longer to scan. You can keep working in other pages while it runs.
