VEOit How generation works

What VEOit does when a generation fails, before reporting an error.

VEOit tries hard to deliver a video before marking a product as failed.

The retry chain

  1. Veo 3.1 Lite with your full prompt
  2. If Google's safety filter blocks it: up to two more Lite attempts with a simplified prompt
  3. Veo 3.1 Fast from the same first image, with the simplified prompt
  4. If the product has more than one image: Veo 3.1 Fast in reference-image mode with up to 3 images

If the whole chain fails, VEOit waits about 50 seconds and tries the product once more.

Credits

Retries and fallbacks are free. Credits are used only for the final video that reaches your product. Products that still fail are listed in the Error Log of the task.
