Place the new video first, second, third or last in the product media gallery.
Generated Video Position decides where the new video lands in the product's media in Shopify.
- Featured (1st position): the default. The video becomes the first media item, which many themes show as the main media on the product page
- 2nd position: the main photo stays first and the video comes right after it
- 3rd position: after the first two images
- Last position: after all existing media
If the requested position exceeds the available positions, the video is placed last. For example, choosing 3rd position for a product with one image puts the video second, at the end.
Which to choose
Use 2nd position if your collection pages and Google Shopping feed rely on the first media being a photo. Use Featured when you want shoppers to see motion first.
