Why VEOit asks for access to products, files, and store information during install.
During install, Shopify shows the data VEOit needs. Each permission maps to a part of the video workflow.
- Products: read titles, descriptions, images and collections, and add the generated video to the product's media
- Files: upload the generated video file to Shopify before it is attached to the product
- Store owner information: identify your store for support and account notices
VEOit never deletes your existing product images or videos. It only adds a new video and moves it to the position you choose.
