Your theme controls how product videos play, loop and crop on product pages.
VEOit adds the video to the product. Your Shopify theme decides how it is displayed to shoppers.
What depends on the theme
- Whether a video in first position shows as the main media
- Autoplay, looping and muted playback
- How the 16:9 landscape video is cropped or letterboxed on mobile
- Whether collection pages show the first media item or the first image
Check your theme
- Open a product page that received a video
- Test it on desktop and on a phone
- In Online Store → Themes → Customize, open the product template and review the media gallery settings
If the video looks better after the main photo, run future tasks with 2nd position and drag existing ones in Shopify.
