Cancel or delete a task

VEOit History & statuses

Stop a pending or processing task, or hide a finished task from History.

Cancel task

Available for Pending and Processing tasks, in the Actions menu.

  • Cancelling a Pending task stops it before any video is generated
  • For a Processing task, a video already being generated may still finish. Check the task details afterwards
  • Videos already created stay on your products, and their credits are used
  • The status becomes Cancelled, and you can use Retry task later

Delete task

Removes the task from your History list. Use it to tidy up old tests. Deleting a task never removes videos from your products. Manage videos in Shopify instead.

Scheduled tasks

For recurring tasks, use Cancel recurring task in Scheduled Task Automations to stop future runs.
